The Ultimate JFK Experience

Our tour delves into one of the most intriguing mysteries of our time: the world-changing assassination of President Kennedy. We explore the facts and recount the incredible coincidences and timing that culminated in the event that shocked the world.

We offer two versions of the tour, a walking excursion (1 hour long, we walk about 5 blocks around Dealey Plaza and the West End), and a bus-operated version (two hours long). Both tours start at the JFK Memorial Plaza located at West End Historic District and include the presidential motorcade route, Dealey Plaza, the Texas School Depository and the Grassy Knoll.

The second half of the bus tour will take us to the Oak Cliff neighborhood where we will visit the Oswald Rooming House, J. D. Tippit's assassination site, the Neely House and the Texas Theater.

We take you through the events of the day from a perspective not found on other tours. Why was JFK even in Dallas that day and why was that route for the motorcade chosen? We lay out the incredible coincidences and timing that culminated in a national tragedy that is as poignant today as it was in 1963.

All tours are lead by a Certified Professional Tour Guide. All vehicle operated excursions include round-trip transporatiton from around Dallas.

The John Fitzgerald Kennedy Memorial is a monument to U.S. President John Fitzgerald Kennedy in the West End Historic District of downtown Dallas, Texas erected in 1970, and designed by noted architect Philip Johnson.

PRESIDENTIAL MOTORCADE

... right on Main St, right on Houston St, sharp left on Elm St, through Triple Underpass, right turn up ramp to North Stemmons Freeway, to Dallas Trade Mart at 2100 North Stemmons. This same exact route cannot be driven today; there is a "No right turn" sign on the corner of Main and Houston Streets as well as some highway progressions in other areas.

DEALEY PLAZA

Dealey Plaza is a city park in the West End district of downtown Dallas, Texas. It is sometimes called the "birthplace of Dallas". It also was the location of the assassination of U.S. President John F. Kennedy, on November 22, 1963.

THE GRASSY KNOLL

Did you know: The grassy knoll on the northwest side of Dealey Plaza has become legendary among conspiracy theory buffs as the purported site of a second shooter involved in the JFK assassination.

OSWALD ROOMING HOUSE

Located at 1026 N. Beckley Ave
The house at 1026 N. Beckley in the Oak Cliff section of Dallas, TX, was the temporary residence of Lee Harvey Oswald at the time of the John F. Kennedy assassination. Oswald rented a room here for $8 a week, beginning October 14, 1963, under the name O.H. Lee The building is approximately 2 miles from the Texas School Book Depository where Oswald began working on October 16.

The Texas Theatre is a movie theater and Dallas Landmark located in the Oak Cliff neighborhood of Dallas, Texas. It gained historical significance on November 22, 1963 as the location of Lee Harvey Oswald's arrest for the killing of Dallas police officer J. D. Tippit.

The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza is a museum located on the sixth floor of the Dallas County Administration Building in downtown Dallas, Texas, overlooking Dealey Plaza at the intersection of Elm and Houston Streets.

SIXTH FLOOR MUSEUM

411 Elm St, Dallas
Located on the sixth floor of the Dallas County Administration Building (formerly the Texas School Book Depository) in downtown Dallas, overlooking Dealey Plaza at the intersection of Elm and Houston Streets. The museum examines the life, times, death, and legacy of President John F. Kennedy and is located at the very spot from which Lee Harvey Oswald, according to four government investigations, shot and killed the President on November 22, 1963.

The tour ends at the Sixth Floor Museum, admission to the museum is not included in the tour. If you plan to visit the museum, get your tickets ahead of time, the museum has restricted capacity, and admission is often sold out. Tickets are timed, if you are planning to go to the museum after the tour, buy your admission tickets at least one hour after the end of the tour to give yourself enough time to have lunch. Tour ends at 12:30- 12:45.
